In addition to demolishing and “beautifying” the hutongs, the capital is also building over 1,000 kilometers of new rail lines, upgrading high-speed bullet trains and now they’re adding a bunch of new parks to the city.Beijing will be home to 15 new parks this year, Xinhua reports.Once these new parks are open, the city will have so many expansive parks that 77 percent of residents will have a park within 500 meters of their homes.
